Duct sondes

Vesala produces the smallest sondes in the industry. Small sondes are especially intended for calibrating fiber optic microducts and locating their blockages e.g. before jetting fibers.

The probes create a magnetic field around themselves, which can be used to locate the probe from a cable route or underground. Often, the probes are used together with a push wire, which is used to deliver the probe to the blockage point in the route.

With a separate search device, the place in need of repair can be located on the surface of the earth. Below you will find our world famous probes and their accessories. Search devices for locating probes can be found in their own section.
